Highly recommended! 89 Grill & Terrace ✨ I was impressed by this à la carte restaurant on Jacobo Majluta. The service is exceptional; the energy and smiles of the team create a unique atmosphere. Food: Delicious and super affordable. Ambiance: The decor and lighting are perfect; every detail is designed for maximum enjoyment. A lively place that's definitely worth a visit!
This place has impressed me so many times. I've walked past this restaurant so many times, even when they were just a few meters away in their old location, but I'd never been motivated to give them a try. Yesterday I finally did, and I was very satisfied. I loved how they played with the harmonization of the space; it makes it feel both cozy and elegant. Although the prices are a bit high, the mixed grill was very good, especially the BBQ ribs and sausage, which were the star ingredients. The croquettes were also delicious, although the sauce was supposed to be blue cheese, and I was left wondering what that characteristic flavor was—at least, I couldn't taste it. The cocktails were good too. They deliver on their promises, and I hope to return sometime.
Wonderful place! It's one of the few places where the food, atmosphere, and service are all perfectly balanced. The food is delicious, the wait isn't long, and the portions are just right. The drink was recommended by the waiter, and I loved it. The service is excellent; I was served by Francisco, and I loved him. The atmosphere is pleasant, and I enjoyed the music they were playing. 100% recommended ❤️ I'll be back to try other things on the menu. The price is excellent.
An absurd and completely inappropriate experience. We were turned away at the door for wearing shorts, as if we were trying to get into a luxury club in Monaco… when in reality the restaurant is in a rather mediocre area of Santo Domingo. They try to project an image of exclusivity that simply doesn't exist. If they're going to be strict about something like this, at least the level of the place—location, ambiance, and concept—should be up to par, because it isn't. Rather than cultivating an "image," what they achieve is giving an impression of unnecessary arrogance and zero hospitality. There are much smarter and more elegant ways to manage a dress code without treating customers as if they weren't welcome. Certainly, after this, I have no desire to return or recommend it.
I like all the options, especially the Angus burger.
