RENT A CAR AT YOUR OWN RISK OF INJURY OR WORSE. We paid for a 2015 KIA model on 9 February, using the next morning. After only 30-40 miles of driving, the car suddenly came to a stop (never starting back up again). We notified the company and they offered to exchange vehicles to a new Kia model. After 2 hours waiting on the side of the highway, the newer model that was supposed to replace this broken down one was not only dirty (apparently they hadn’t had time to get it cleaned), BUT THE CAR HORN WASN’T WORKING either, leading us to believe that the airbag is also probably defunct. To make matters worse, we filled up a tank full of gas, had our plans cancelled due to the breakdown of the original car (meaning losing more money), and the owner refused to offer any kind of apology or offer of covering partial gas money (we did get a refund though but that’s only after much back and forth). The fact that their business is renting out cars, you’d think that they would ensure they provide usable cars. This company is a red flag and is a HUGE RISK and not worth the potential complications and danger. I would avoid like the plague and go to a reputable rental company knowing that you’re paying a little extra for integrity and safety. Think seriously about whether it’s worth risking breakdowns or other failures - we’re just grateful we broke down in the middle of the highway in the daytime.
