Awesome place. Great service, Great drinks, food and atmosphere. My view was the beautiful Iglesia del Carmen. The Gentleman who assisted us, really know his business, so nice and educated. Love that they have an interesting collection of antique plates where they serve your food. Their quesadillas are so yummy and the 🇩🇴 mangu, wao! The queso frito cut, the best, not thick, not thin, simply great. Don’t forget to take home your Affogato coffee pack,! Loved this place♥️
Absolute Hidden Gem 💎 I’m so grateful I found this cafe. It has the perfect vibe, great food, amazing atmosphere, and probably the best customer service in Santo Domingo (that says a lot). Went there for brunch and was simply amazed with everything. Cannot wait to go back. This is easily top 3 for cozy brunch.
If you’re in Zona Colonial, Affogato Café is definitely a spot you don’t want to miss. The food was honestly 10/10 fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. My son absolutely loved his French toast with strawberries, and seeing him enjoy it made the experience even better. The cappuccino was so good that I ended up ordering two, perfectly balanced, smooth, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great place to relax with family or just enjoy a great coffee break. ⭐️ Highly recommend. I will definitely be coming back
Lovely place. Big menu. Great service! The food is average, my burger was juicy but felt not homemade. The pasta very flavorful but too much white sauce. It suffocated the nice bacon bits and the noodle looked as if they were swimming in white sauce . The coffee was excellent and a nice mimosa. I’ll go back again and just stick to cafe food instead of main dishes. But I’ll definitely be back. I wish they had a sign that told that the bathroom had no running wster- not their fault- it is due to construction on the Zona Colonial,
What a 5 🌟 service!!! We came for breakfast and Jose Miguel made the whole experience from serving us to accommodating the menu to our needs a breeze!! I’m Dominican but live abroad and during this trip I was let down by the quality of the service in many places but Jose Miguel and his attentions made me recover the faith in my country and showed my husband who’s not Dominican what my beautiful country is all about: good food, good people and amazing warm service!!! The atmosphere and the vintage details are absolutely lovely 🥰 Thank you Affogato Café!
