Do not come here unless you want to be quoted prices twice over the phone then they bill you out almost 3 times as much. If you’re going to charge high prices then at least have high customer service. To summarize I called twice to confirm how much women’s haircut was and how much a gel manicure was with removal of existing gel nail polish. They quoted me twice over the phone women ($25) and gel manicure ($15) with gel removal ($7). Totally fair Then i show up and the bill is $232. Naturally I asked for an itemized bill and they charge everything separately. Haircut, hair wash for the hair cut, blow dry, manicure, gel polish, gel removal. Which is understandable if your employees verbalize that over the phone, which twice they confirmed those prices. The owner was unsympathetic and stated I should have gotten both names of the persons answering the phone and they cannot do anything to resolve the price. Naturally I was not leaving until I got a discount or price match. Which I was not going to get at all until the owner gave in at 10%. Never coming back here, customer service and employee training is severely lacking for a place like this where people own homes. I also inquired if they applied heat protectant on my hair, they said yes but my hair smells fried now.

First time in the Dominican Republic. We came for a cousin’s wedding. I have very curly hair and rarely can someone fix my hair. I decided to try this place because they too have curly hair like mine. They gave me the best hair cut I have had in my lifetime. I love the way they styled my hair. Outstanding salon.

Worst haircut of my life. Absolutely ruined my hair. First stylist had no clue what she doing and the "main" tried to fix it, but she also messed it up. I do not recommend coming here.

Bait and switch. I had a reservation with Miriam and waited 20 minutes. There was only 1 other customer. Then I was told that I would have to wait 25 more minutes. Then I was given a different manicurist with the assurances that she was great. My nails after she was done were a mess. The top coat was not put on correctly and it altered the color so I basically have patches on my gel and I need to find somewhere else in casa de campo to have the whole thing removed.

I walked in about 2pm on Tuesday to see about making an appointment for a haircut after my workday (Captain, Mate and I are in the marina working on a 91ft yacht) and the only woman there was on the phone on the couch. I waited and she said something to me after a moment, but it was so quiet that I couldn't hear. I said "Sorry" and she said it again very quietly. I said sorry again and with more drama than a Broadway play she pulled the one ear piece out and let out a massive exasperated sigh as she stood up to talk to me. With that attitude I decided my business wasn't wanted there so I left. Very disappointed. I can't comment on the skills because I wasn't able to get anything done.
