Excellent experience with my 7-month-old baby and his first pediatric dental appointment at AmeriKids. Very grateful for their care and recommendations. An excellent place to take care of our little ones' health.

My experience at this dental clinic was a complete disaster and honestly says a lot about the quality of their work and the staff they employ. I had a fixed internal retainer, and something as simple as removing the resin ended up completely destroying the retainer with a small machine, leaving it broken into pieces in a very strange way. Honestly, I don't understand how someone who is supposedly a dentist does something like that. After that, they placed a poor-quality wire, badly made and without enough resin, to the point that it was constantly cutting my tongue. I had to go back just to have more resin applied because they didn't even do that right from the start. Then, when I returned to get another retainer, they started trying to convince me that I had a lot of cavities and a lot of things that "needed fixing," things that other professionals had honestly never mentioned to me. Thank God I didn't have time, and I only went ahead with a minor repair. The result was SO bad that they literally left a mountain of material in my mouth, and I couldn't even close my mouth properly for two whole days, and to top it all off, it was a holiday. I had to go back again. The other person who saw me afterward had to spend a huge amount of time removing all the excess material they had left because it was excessive. And to complete the disaster, they took impressions to make another removable retainer and then called me saying they had to retake them because they took them incorrectly. The most unbelievable thing is that to refund me approximately RD$4,000 and change, they started giving me the runaround, making excuses, and causing delays. I had to spend almost four months chasing them for something as simple as a refund. Be very careful before going to this place. Some minor procedures I had done turned out fine, but others resulted in extremely serious and unnecessary problems. Honestly, this speaks volumes about the quality of their work and what kind of professionals are working there.

It's unrealistic how much time is wasted at this clinic for any procedure; they don't value the client's time. They're quick to collect payment, like typical Dominicans, and if they mistakenly charge you for something they shouldn't and you complain, they keep it as a deposit for future procedures. The quality of the dental specialists is unquestionable; they're very good at what they do. However, the appointment system and the wait times are frustrating, even though I've been going to this branch for a year now.
