That resort has deep, lake-like areas at the dam's outlet, and the lower part is almost always murky. Visitors throw a lot of trash. The only available restroom is the Timberke Bar, the cleanest and most hygienic; it's newly built and currently free. The so-called "musicologists" make you deaf; it's complete chaos, I think, unnecessary, and causes noise pollution for visitors.

Timberke Beach, named after a popular bar on the banks of the Yaque del Norte River, is located downstream from the Taveras Bao Dam, near Sabana Iglesia. The river is fast-flowing and deep in some sections, making it ideal for fishing. Its width allows for the use of small boats, though it can be somewhat dangerous when it rains because the dam is located upstream, where the river's course continues downstream. The Timberke Bar is a popular hangout for music lovers, and the loud music is harmful to everyone's health, even those who risk listening to it so closely, as it damages their inner hearing. The beach offers restrooms, a dance floor, and vendors selling local food and drinks. I do not recommend children without adult supervision due to the river's rapids and depth in certain areas, which are not marked as deep. It belongs to the province of Santiago de los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic. The lack of security and presence of law enforcement and environmental authorities contributes to the problem.
