Sorry to do this but people should know how I came all the way from the U.S to open up an account here in the D.R and brought all my (so-called) required documents, tax returns, pay stubs, bank statements you name it. And even had a friend of mine there with me who is Dominican to help move things along, came in on Monday and was told by Steven (bank rep) to call back Thursday, so we called back and was informed I was approved for an account then after coming in excited to make my first deposit, I was then told it wasn’t showing approved in the system and to call back Friday...so call back today and guess what?.. now they denied me cause they need a cover letter from my employer! And that was a simple thing to acquire but because they wasted my valuable time and my friends time with their lack of professionalism and lack of communication. I no longer want anything to do with this bank and do not recommend!. Went over to Coop San Jose and opened a savings/investment account in less than 30 min.
I had a very bad & frustrating experience @ this branch. It took me from 10AM to 4PM to get a certified check from MY money. At least the personnel was very nice and apologetic. Banreservas management needs to get their act together.
The service is a bit slow since there are few people providing service; go without worrying about the time, once you're in line it's easier and faster.
Three hours in a transaction line is overwhelming! The bank is disregarding its customers' time by having fewer staff than required. Three hours! And with a line of fewer than 20 vehicles!
This is the worst branch Banreserva has ever had 😡. The employees act like they're on a beach and don't pay any attention to the customers.
