This location Is a parking area where are you can pull over to the side of the road on your way to Sanchez or Las Terrenas and take in the great views of the bay of Samana. It’s particularly beautiful in the morning. Sometimes the police like to wait on the side of the road here so make sure when you’re passing through here that you’re 100% legal. You’re looking out to the other side of the bay which is about 40 miles away and to the horizon and the distance which is about 75 miles away. Looking straight out from this location you would almost be looking towards Santo Domingo or La Romana, but don’t get too excited you can’t see it I’m just saying that’s the direction that you’re looking which is south.
