Even not using the AC at all the electricity is ridiculously expensive. They will charge a 150 deposit to hold the apartment and guess what?? More 250 deposit at the property in cash. They will lie and say it is refundable, but that depends on your electricity usage. The pool is solo over chlorided that we lost some clothes and toys. Prepare to smell drugs everywhere. And beach is duty and the boats get too close to the shore, making holes on the sand that will drown someone one day. You will step in so same platic cups and beers bottles in the sea, because the people that work at the boats simply throw them. The list could go on. Stay away from the villas and just enjoy the restaurants that are good.

We spent 2 nights as a family of 5 adults. The "Three-Bedroom Villa with Jacuzzi" was an apartment on the ground floor of a larger building, and had a private entrance. The place was very clean and spacious. While it shows its age, and definitely cannot be described as "luxury" in a Western meaning of this word, for the price it was perfect for us. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, large living room and kitchen, all nicely decorated and with a proper Carribean charm. The hosts were friendly, accommodating and helpful. The location was incredible with the beach only a few steps away and beach chairs available for free in a private beach club that offers great value drinks and tasty food. We enjoyed our stay very much and can fully recommend the place. A few niggles. It was hard to find the property despite the detailed instructions and photos sent by the host. Unfortunately we arrived during extremely heavy rain so our ability to walk around and look for the place was limited, especially since we had two elderly ladies with us. There was some confusion as to where to go but we got there in the end. Now regarding the check in and the checkout, I would have preferred the process to be more straigtforward. Checkin required us to sit down with the hosts inside the property and go over the details, pay the deposit (cash only), check the electricity meter, etc. Then the same again at checkout. This could be done much better with either a key lockbox, or electronic house locks, deposit payment online, etc. As an introvert the whole process was unnecessary and stressful to me. But perhaps that's personal preference. Also, while I appreciate that the place is self-catering and more budget-oriented, at least coffee and tea would be great to have in the kitchen. We had to buy everything ourselves, which was cheap of course, but it's such a waste cause we had to leave most of the stuff behind as we only stayed for two nights. And final complaint - wifi is poor. Doesn't work in the bedrooms, only in the living room. This can be fixed so easily with a $50 wifi extender installed in the hallway. Coming from Europe, I didn't have mobile roaming and depended heavily on wifi for travel planning and communicating so this was a bit of a pain to always be limited to the living room.

5-Star Experience! Amazing resort in Bavaro! The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the whole property was beautiful and well-maintained. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with stunning views. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety, especially at the beach restaurant, where we enjoyed amazing meals right by the ocean. The service throughout was top-notch. We loved the pool and beach, both absolutely breathtaking, and the nightly entertainment was fantastic. Highly recommended for a perfect luxury getaway in the Dominican Republic!

I have been many times in these Villas in.Los Corales. The location is perfect, white sand, palm trees and turquoise water right in front. The villa is very well taken care of, the staff in the complex take good care of everything and are very helpful whenever there is a question or when I need something. The reservation with Anna is always easy and smooth and I never encountered any problems when we arrived, even when we arrived late. Anna was always there for us and made sure we got the keys. Thank you for everything! Booked already for next year.
