Having had dinner at the mosquito restaurant the day before, this was so lacking. Piña colada was the only decent thing. The steak was very underwhelming. The surf and turf was better as it was filled minion but still nothing crazy. Grilled lobster was a huge portion, ok flavor. Croquetas were trash. Carpacio was mid. Dont even recall what some of us had as entrees as it was not that good. Lastly, the tiramisu was terrible, so absolutely overly sweet and with almost no coffee at all. We started with the terrible croquetas and ended with the terrible tiramisu, not a good look. Atmosphere at night nowhere near as nice as other restaurants even tho it is on the beach. Maybe during the day it is better. The hotel is closed so walking to the restaurant is a bit weird.
This place is beautiful, near the beach. We got two waiters, the male one Noelvis, was very friendly and helpful! The woman, whose name we didn’t get, was rude and not too friendly. The food was okay. Nothing impressive and nothing to come back to. The potato salad was our least favorite. The curry dish and ceviche were the best ones but again, nothing to crave. Prices are high and you pretty much pay for the place.
We came here as a group of five because one of the group loved the steak so much, it was my first time. The reviews were mixed. The steak was apparently very good, the creamy seafood risotto was also good. The hamburger was okay. And I had the chicken tacos which I didn't really like. They came with chicken and avocado and lettuce, with a salad dressing poured over and then a slice of cheese melted on top. The tortillas were baked flour tortillas, shaped into hard shells. The version I had was the spicy version but the sprinkling of chili powder on top couldn't be tasted. The fries were fine, unsalted and without ketchup unless you asked, but okay. The view was beautiful, I liked the breeze they had going, the service was fine, the restrooms not so good, but they also added on an extra charge. You pay 10 percent for an automatic tip added on, then 18 percent on the whole with that for tax, then some other tax too. I don't know, order the steak and it sounds like it's a better option.
A great place to sit and have a drink or a snack in front of the beach. Delicious dinner too. Thanks to Michael, Cabrera, and their colleagues for their excelent and consistent service.
Great food, pretty atmosphere, and the pina coladas were great!
