sent doctor Jose Luis’ assistants a message via WhatsApp to inquire about breast work. I told them the specific procedure that I wanted, I also sent them photos and all of my information that they asked (I’m very healthy, no kids.) Then they tell me that they can only give me a price range until I come into their clinic and meet the doctor in person (LET ME ADVICE YOU THAT NO DOCTOR DOES THIS. They all give you a price range via WhatsApp, immediately. Take this as a red flag). They let me know that the consultation is $150 USD— that was perfectly okay with me. They scheduled me weeks after at 2pm (I’m rushing for the appt because I have a flight back home to the US in less than 4 weeks, and my possible recovery time was running low) however, I took the appt anyway because I was determined to get the job done with him. So I waited the week until my appt. When I finally got to the office the day of, Dr. Jose Luis arrived late which was very unprofessional. I’ve been waiting since 2pm and he arrives around 3.. I didn’t get called until almost 5. I waited 4 hours for a consultation of 10 mins that I had to pay $150 for. VERY annoying. During the consultation, he doesn’t even give me a price still. He tells me that his assistant will tell me when I get home…(why so much secrecy?😒). When I finally get home that I wasted my whole day at this clinic.. they sent me quote for my surgery… almost 8 thousand dollars for a simple breast work. He might as well practice in the United States… and this is the part that made me very angry because I felt that I was baited into spending $150, when they knew I was not going to willingly give him $8k for a job that normally costs $4,500 in the Dominican Republic. This message is for those that wonder how much Dr. Jose Luis cost. He wont tell you until you pay him to know his prices. So if you want to save you $150 USD and 4+ hrs of waiting in his office, I’m here to tell you that his quotes all begin at $7k. This is nothing against Dr. Jose Luis, he seems like a great person but he’s also very money driven, and just rooted by money only.
