Not quite as amazing as I was hoping for. Food was okay. Pastries were good, not great. Difficulty finding a seat.
I looked forward to going to this place every morning sitting having a great cup of coffee, great breakfast and fresh pastries. Highly recommend !! And I can’t forget the staff warm, friendly and they make sure they take care of you. What a great experience.
the best almond croissants i have ever had in my life!! OMG - you need to go there for those. the lorraine quiche was also amazing and the baguettes perfects. Everything is a must try!! We went for breakfast both days we were in town.... and will come back
Before visiting, I read a few reviews mentioning that the waitress had a habit of rolling her eyes. I actually did see this happen—but to be fair, I also witnessed several customers treating her pretty badly. Some were snapping their fingers at her or calling her over the way you’d call a pet. Maybe it’s a cultural difference for them, but it’s disrespectful no matter where you’re from, and I can understand how that would wear on anyone. That said, it was a bit difficult to get the staff’s attention at times. However, once we did, they were perfectly nice and treated us well. My takeaway is that if you treat them with respect, they respond in kind.
I was into this place yesterday. Their website said that they did gluten-free products. It turns out they don't do gluten-free products. And that's not a problem. The problem was that they were so rude to me and laughing at my attempts to speak their language. If you're an expert or a tourist, you might want to stay away from this place.
