Café Santo Domingo is the Starbucks of the Dominican Republic. The prices are around a dollar for an espresso. These guys are pros and it’s always a great to experience.
Horrible parking
Great Coffee...
Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite branches when I'm running errands downtown and need a quiet but convenient spot. The staff is warm and professional. The products are obviously top-notch, and even when the air conditioning broke, the atmosphere didn't feel heavy or unwelcoming. I love it here.
I went with my friends last Sunday and it was a terrible experience. From the moment we arrived, wanting to see the menu, they didn't have one and kept saying we could scan them at the table, but none of the tables had QR codes. After a while, a girl came and gave us a menu, which 50% of the people there didn't have, and it was like they didn't want us to order anything. I ordered a protein shake and two sandwiches (chicken and tuna). I don't know which one it was, but it gave me a gastrointestinal infection, and I still have diarrhea three days later. One of my friends had a similar experience with a burrito he ordered that tasted expired. There were other problems, but overall, it was a bad experience.
