Profesional, friendly, knowledgeable of what they are going to do
Good work but need more detail
I absolutely do not recommend this repair shop. They lack commitment, respect, professionalism, and respect for their customers. I delivered my damaged vehicle on February 12, 2024, to Mr. Pedro Rijo (the owner), who promised to return it 15-20 days after the insurance company delivered the parts. They even gave me the contact information for an adjuster so I could contact him and request an expedited parts delivery process (which I did, and the parts were delivered within the timeframe stipulated by the insurance company). According to the owner, my vehicle was supposed to be delivered by then. When I went to the shop on the supposed delivery date, the vehicle was in worse condition than when I had left it. They made excuses, invited me back the following week, and the vehicle was still in the same state. This charade went on for several months until one day I ran into Mr. Rijo at the shop, the same man who had promised the 15-day delivery. He told me he wouldn't take pressure from anyone, that he had a contract with the shop, not the customer. 😅😳 He started defending himself and making excuses, blaming the insurance company and the universe, not realizing that the negligence was closer to him and his team than to other places. I'm using this tool because I'm fed up, and to this day, they still have my vehicle there, and they haven't given me an answer, compensation, respectful treatment, or even basic human decency. My vehicle is insured with Futuro Insurance (which I also don't recommend; they don't provide any service either). I bought the policy from NOUVO, an insurance company in Bávaro, and needless to say, even they don't know what they're doing because they never know anything. I wish the officials at RD would show some responsibility, professionalism, commitment, and respect for the client. We have to deal with the trauma of an accident, being without a vehicle, trauma, and on top of that, monthly payments to the finance company of 20,000 pesos, and these companies, instead of providing security and services, make you feel important, trapped, and full of anger. Here are photos with the dates and the progress of the CAPSA officials! My only question is... if the job was too much for him, why didn't they declare it a total loss? If the insurance company Futuro is so BAD AND IRRESPONSIBLE, as Rijo said, why did they accept it? Why did they promise a date knowing it was a lie? A MAN'S WORD? A professional's? I'll sum it up by saying I'm sorry and embarrassed for them how things are being handled in this country. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! Today is August 6th, and I'm still on foot, and I've already paid 139,000 pesos to my loan shark with a vehicle in a repair shop because of the negligence of our officials and the services of our "PROFESSIONALS." SHAME!
If you're thinking of taking your vehicle here, think twice. I ignored the negative reviews because I heard they had a good reputation in the eastern region, and I took my luxury car in for just a minor cosmetic issue on the bumper (a simple scratch, no dents, just paint). They charged me 10,000 pesos to "remove and paint," but in the end, they didn't remove the bumper. It was obvious because the tie wrap (tayra) holding the bumper's fender in place was still there, even though I was waiting for the clip pack I'd ordered while the car was at the shop. When I complained, the manager (Víctor) told me that "that was my problem." Three weeks later, the paint started peeling. I ended up chipping it off myself with my fingers (I couldn't use my nails because it was so peeling). Because of this bad experience, I didn't trust them to fix the damage again. In short: expensive and sloppy work. A smaller repair shop would have charged me less and the repair would have lasted longer. The bumper had at least 10 cracks like the ones in the photos.
They haven't finished with my vehicle yet, but the customer service is very good, and I liked the mechanic's assessment. They're still working on it, so I can't tell you how well they do, but I'll come back and let you know when they're done.
