I did three tours with Caribbean Route: buggies, Saona Island, and parasailing, and all of them were amazing. Everything was well organized and transportation was always on time. The buggy tour was a lot of fun with plenty of mud and adventure, parasailing was an incredible experience with amazing views, and Saona Island was absolutely beautiful with crystal-clear water and great vibes. The staff was friendly and made everything easy and enjoyable. I had an awesome time and would definitely book with Caribbean Route again.

A great activity. A fantastic day! A beautiful place. Great service. Great driver and guide. The only downside was they gave us 2 different times, 6:30am and 7:30am. I tried to contact them multiple times and got no response. I went through Get your guide who were helpful and also contacted the company and got nothing either. So poor communication, apart from that all good. 💫

BEWARE!!!! Booked a snorkeling trip to Catalina Island for me and my family 3 adults and 3 kids on my trip Feb 2026. Was a terrible experience. The boat was way over crowded there wasn't enough life jackets on the boat for every one. There wasn't enough snorkeling gear for everyone was not cleaned between people as we had to wait and share the gear. There was no masks that would fit kids so my kids could not even do the excursion. My wife went to put a mask on and there was broken glass in it as well as on the floor where she got a piece of glass stuck in her foot. Catalina Island was nice but there was no Information provided on how long we where there for. When I got back and complained to try and get some compensation for not being able to do the excursion. I was told that there is nothing they can do as they do not even know what boat you are on (they needed to fix one of the engines while we where on the water). So I asked how is this safe as they previously told me that I need to book with them in the hotel as there excursions are safe and there are people on the beach that sell excursions that are not safe . The sales person walked away from me. I would 100% not use this excursion company. Was also charged an extra 18% to use my credit card.

Beware of big scam in Dominican Republic! We booked a trip to Saona Island. First, we stopped at a souvenir shop that was far too expensive. There, two small softdrinks and two small packets of cookies cost 25 USD (in Germany we call it Kaffeefahrt-Abzocke) We continued on to the boat, where the guide pointed out the photographer who would take a few photos of the guests in exchange for a tip. We agreed to have about few photos taken at the first boat stop. The heavily overweight photographer (he calls himself big papi) took these pictures within 2-3 minutes. Later on the boat, he suddenly demanded a fixed sum of $100 USD for the few photos taken (via cloud transfer, no printed pictures) instead of a tip. So I refused and warned the other present guests about the scam. The guide and the boat crew then asked me to refrain from doing so and not to warn the other guests. This clearly gives the impression that the tour operator is profiting from this rip-off scam. I highly NOT recommend a tour with this agency.

I had the opportunity to visit Saona Island, and honestly, it was one of the best experiences I've had on a tour in the Dominican Republic 🌴✨. From the very beginning, everything was incredibly well-organized. We set off on a catamaran, and the trip was so much fun: great music, a lively atmosphere, drinks, and spectacular ocean views that made the journey enjoyable even before we reached the island. Upon arriving at Saona Island, I understood why so many people recommend it. The water is incredibly crystal clear, the sand is white and soft, and the scenery literally looks like a postcard. It's the perfect place to relax, take beautiful photos, and disconnect from everything for a while. The stop at the natural pool was also one of my favorite parts; the clear, calm water made the experience even more special. The food was delicious and plentiful. Everything looked fresh, and there was a variety to choose from. The staff was always attentive and friendly. You can tell when a tour company cares about ensuring people truly enjoy the entire day. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I would repeat without hesitation, especially with them. If you're looking for a paradise with a great atmosphere, delicious food, and unforgettable memories, Saona Island is a must-see 🏝️💙 ADD THEM TO YOUR TRIP
