We weren't told we had to change buses in Puerto Plata. I don't understand why there isn't a direct connection. Anyway, we took the bus to the last stop and only changed there. This should have happened much earlier. Because of the delayed transfer, we lost 2.5 hours and arrived very late.

The trip is shorter than I thought and they really do still provide good service, although I find it very strange that in this day and age, when the digital age is booming, they don't accept card payments; they should implement it.
