We had an AMAZING dinner! The drinks were absolutely perfect; the old fashioned and Chinola Mojito are 10/10. The Cesar salad was good, the ham croquetas were very good. My husband highly recommends the octopus with grilled veggies. The Coconut flan is highly recommended as well. Rogelio, Luis and Joelly were extremely attentive. Overall this is a place we will be returning to again.

We outside on the top deck overlooking Samana Bay. It was a perfect evening even before the food arrived. I had the dorado over vegrables and she had the grill octopus. Both exceeded our expectations in quality, preparation, and presentation. Dessert was cheesecake with a bonus chocolate mousse added by the chef and we were blown away. We will definately visit this restaurant again during our vacation.

Yes, we’re foodies, however this is a highly rated restaurant and promises good food. In reality the quality or specifically the cooking was diabolical. The whole fish of the day was a mullet cooked to death, the steak ordered rare was a piece of over cooked leather and literally inedible. We’ve enjoyed far better food at local beach bars in the Dominican Republic. We’re cruising on a sailboat and better to cook yourself while here until you get to another island.

Food took forever to come and the waiter was extremely unprofessional when taking our order. Didn’t honor the plate of the day offer advertised in their Instagram. Waiter doesn’t even know the price of things without consulting someone else. I ordered a dorado meal and in the end somehow through her terrible communication she billed us for a different dish. Had to argue with them that I’m not paying for a dish I never ordered and that it’s not my problem they didn’t take my order well when I communicated very clearly on what I want. Also messed up my garnish order. Overall decent food but the service is beyond horrible.

Certainly the best restaurant in this city. We had over multiple days the octopus, risotto, grilled chicken, salmon, dorade and taste and portion size are great. The breakfast is more rudimentary western style but still ok.
