Very safe and nice place to stay in Santo Domingo in a great location! Guys at the reception are the sweetest! They are also very patient and helpful with anything you may need. Rooms are simple with all you may need during your short or a little bit longer stay. If I'm back in SD I'll come back to Casa for sure!

I paid for the room in cash and the owner denied me a receipt. Straight refused.

The service was not really bad, but we can't pay with credit card, so you should have cash. The room wasn't big, but was nice and clean. The location is the best feature they have. Recommended!

The first room we got had no windows and a wall full of mold. But the guy who was working there that evening was very nice and supportive and gave us a bigger room with windows and little kitchen for the same price. Still, this room was also not clean at all. Everything was dusty, it felt like the room was not cleaned in weeks and in the whole building was no sense of furnishing or decoration. Just very uncomfortable. I stayed at hostels in Santo Domingos Zona Colonial that were way better and even cheaper.

I am giving 4 stars to this location, because of good customer service.. Rooms clean, bathrooms clean. Nice balcony on the third floor to have a snack or a drink. They should not offer rooms without windows though. Hotel with a room with no windows is a no-no. The owner was very accommodating and switched us from at room to another for the same price.
