Casa Juana in Las Galeras is an absolute gem! This place is as authentic as it gets when it comes to homemade food—you can truly taste the love and care in every single dish. Everything is freshly cooked the same day, so don’t be surprised if you arrive and some dishes are already sold out—it’s honestly that good! The hospitality here is unmatched. I have specific dietary needs, and they went above and beyond to accommodate me, working with what they had to create delicious meals tailored just for me. While I was in Las Galeras, I found myself coming back almost every day for lunch—and even for some dinners! If you’re looking for incredible, heartfelt food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, Casa Juana is the place to be. Highly recommended!

When we arrived there was a bus group waiting for their food so the place was full and thus no table available. We were willing to take the food to go but while waiting another group left so we got a seat. The staff were very accommodating and friendly despite the place being full. The food was amazing; the fiah was juicy and crispy and the chicken was tender and flavourful! You could choose them with rice or moro, we suggest trying moro (spiced rice with peas)! Great value for money, very locan vibes amd quiet location!

This restaurant had delicious, authentic Dominican food. The family business is run by husband, wife and children, and they were all such a pleasure and very hospitable. Will return when I come to Samana!

If you want to eat like a guest at Dominican house - visit here!❤️ Simple, summer-house-like, relaxed ambience. There are big tables and you end up eating with other people. All were so nice during our visit! There is no such thing as menu. Juana welcomes you and tells what she has today. We had fish and calamari which came with rice, fresh salad and beans. Very generous portions at good price. But most important - freshly made with love and great quality, delicious and authentic! This is what I value the most ❤️
