I chose to come to this medical center after years of struggling with various vision problems. Arriving early is crucial; I got there at 7 am and received number 73. The ticket area can be a bit confusing, with different lines based on the reason for the visit and the professional you’re seeing. However, the registration and payment process is efficient. I also appreciate the well-stocked and reasonably priced cafeteria. One notable aspect is that, thanks to this center, I was diagnosed with a rare condition that other doctors in the USA couldn’t identify before.
I reiterate, you have an excellent, highly qualified medical staff; I am living proof of that. But unfortunately, as can happen anywhere, some of your employees tarnish the quality of service you provide. Yesterday was my follow-up appointment after my surgery last Monday, and everything went very well. However, when I was leaving to schedule the appointment for next Monday, the girl who was near room B—there were several of us waiting to schedule the appointment—was very disrespectful to me, as well as to a woman who was there. She spoke to me in an aggressive tone, without any respect, claiming that the computer had turned off and she couldn't schedule the appointment. I insisted that I had just had surgery and needed to schedule the appointment. She practically slapped me. I was with my mother and another person. After her outburst, she seemed to realize her mistake and came into room B to schedule the appointment, even reluctantly, and didn't apologize for what she did. I let her tantrum slide because I had just had surgery, and it wasn't in my best interest to be upset. I was getting upset, and I was tired. It's not in my nature as a professional and a Christian to insult anyone or make a scene. But I also don't appreciate being disrespected. And I'm warning you, the next employee who does the same thing as that young woman yesterday, I won't let it slide, and it will cost them dearly. I expect you to take action on this matter because I'm aware that that young woman's attitude doesn't represent your values or the quality you provide. Blessings.
Excellent medical center, particularly specializing in ophthalmology. The staff, specialists, and doctors are very efficient and respectful. Despite seeing over 500 patients daily, everything runs smoothly. Of course, you have to spend many hours in the various departments. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained. This center also accepts SENASA subsidized insurance and charges only 100 pesos per consultation.
A friend recommended the place as a "popular" center. I arrived at 10:00 a.m. with a set budget and the decision to buy hearing aids. I've been a regular user for six years. Although I understood the requirement for a prior evaluation and paid for it immediately, the audiometry test took almost three hours, even though the center wasn't busy. Finally, the evaluation was performed by an audiologist who was curt, offered few explanations, and was clearly in a hurry (first to have breakfast, then to eat, then to leave). The diagnosis was severe hearing loss with a recommendation for hearing aids, something I already knew and made clear from the start, reiterating that my interest was in PURCHASING them. After the wait, they gave me a written quote that I hadn't requested. They didn't show me the devices, explain their features, or explain the differences between models or price ranges. The audiologist simply assigned me a device without any prior discussion. The price was 114,000 pesos per pair, the same or even more expensive than in the private market. When I asked to see other options, the audiologist got annoyed and left for almost half an hour. Insisting on buying that same day, I asked to at least try the devices (which is a buyer's right; no one can force you to buy something you haven't tried. Note that there's a difference between trying them to decide and programming something you've already bought). During the trial, I asked for basic adjustments: the device only amplified voices and didn't allow me to hear my surroundings. The problem wasn't volume, but programming, and she didn't know how to do it, yet she kept telling me the problem was my hearing. The person who helped me didn't understand the system, was unsympathetic, and rude, ultimately invalidating my experience as a user. I'm sharing this because I'm tired of people being infantilized or treated with contempt, especially when a device represents an investment of over 100,000 pesos. The next day I bought my hearing aids at a private audiology clinic in a shopping center for 20,000 pesos less. The process was clear, respectful, empathetic, and efficient. It took me 1 hour and 45 minutes, including programming. I'm giving it 2 stars because the reception staff is friendly and the place is clean and organized. However, it's not worth it because of the distance and the deception: it presents itself as a popular center when in reality it's a private clinic that charges little for the evaluation but sells the most expensive devices, without having adequately trained medical or technical staff to care for deaf people. If you're reading this, don't waste your time. Save up your money and go to a place where they treat you well. The devices are too expensive to endure such a long process and staff who only want to make a sale and don't want to support you.
Excellent medical center; the ophthalmology department provides high-quality and efficient services. They see hundreds of patients daily, smoothly, efficiently, and with kindness. They accept SENASA subsidized insurance, so you pay almost nothing.
