The hospital is pretty, but doctors there have a colder heart than their freezing a/c! I was diagnosed with a rare parasite, and drug not available in pharmacies. Doc said he'd try to get it overseas, but left me hanging for weeks. Refused to give me personal contact phone or email while symptoms deteriorated alarmingly. I actually needed an infectologist rather than the urologist that saw me. And this doc could have walked only a few meters away from his desk to ask help from a colleague. Yet he could not be bothered with something so simple. Weeks later visited an infectologist there. The short story is that their approach is heartless, and their medical competency and professionalism is truly wanting. She even stood me up on my first appointment, and also refused to give a contact number and email. This is a hospital policy with ALL doctors at Cemdoe! The service given was subpar, ordering expensive, and highly invasive procedures that I did not truly need. The story is rather long winded, expensive and most miserable. But just let me ask you: why would you ever wish to see a doc that were devoid of basic human compassion? Only choose a physician that you are ALWAYS able to call if you are tomorrow in a medical crisis, and in need of urgent medical guidance. Stay away from this hellish place, I would refuse their service even if it were free.

Doctors here are terrible. Highly unprofessional, they dont care about you and cant even do their job properly . Not even a medical indication can they do properly , How can you even trust them to treat you ? Reception, outside staff are good , place is pretty beautiful, yeah sure , but they are just distraction and waste of money to hide how bad their doctors are . They look like hungry for money and they need medicine , and that medicine is your money.

They do have some issue on really important things such like i have to waited like a whole hour just for seeing a Dr without they saying anything about it (an appointment that was scheduled more than a week ago). Also they reschedule me without letting me know first and i just found out about it once i was already there... a complete waste of time... I hope they don't keep missing out details like this that otherwise i wont be going back as many other clients

Don't be fooled. This place looks pretty and new, but they don't care about their patients time. I wasted 6 days of my life only to be refused surgery because they would not accept a blood report from my doctor (a hematologist) in Puerto Plata. I will never return.

We had a good experience.
