What a lack of respect and empathy there is at this center! I'd like to meet the owner to tell him to stop hiring crazy people there who have absolutely no respect for life or humanity. Yesterday my blood pressure and sugar dropped, and since it's closer to my house, I wanted to go to this clinic to have my blood pressure monitored (I have chronic hypertension). The emergency room doctor and nurses were all very agitated. I don't know, the nurse practically shouted at me, asking who my cardiologist was, and I told her I was at Homs. She said in front of everyone, in a tone I don't even want to remember, why didn't I go to Homs? I just want to meet the owner.
I went to get several tests done, and I honestly felt like I'd been scammed. In the morning, the girl who helped me told me it was 8,000 pesos and just gave me a slip of paper that said "tests" and "8,000" underneath. She didn't give me a detailed receipt with the names of the tests and their prices. Later that afternoon, I went and asked for the detailed receipt. She gave me the excuse that the system was slow, but it's incredible that the other girl's system was working. And the price went up 50 pesos from morning to afternoon. And several weeks ago, I had a blood count done on my daughter that cost 350 pesos, and they charged me 400. I won't go back to the clinic again. I don't consider that receipt to have been a decent receipt. She spent all her time typing on the computer and making calls. Whether she scammed me or not doesn't matter because I already paid, no matter what. But I won't go back to the clinic again. (If you notice, the detailed receipt doesn't even have the clinic's seal. An invoice without a seal is worthless; it's obvious they only did that to deceive me.) Terrible service!!
Excellent clinic. Dr. Estrella is very kind and a very good doctor.
Excellent service, convenient location for the community, offers all services
My friend was at this center on November 26, 2024, at 7:00 PM because she had an accident in which she suffered facial injuries. Unfortunately, she went to this medical center where they had the audacity to stitch her face with thread that wasn't meant for facial use. My friend went to another center after witnessing the negligence of the staff who treated her. When she arrived, the first thing they told her was that they had to remove the thread that had been used at the Doctor Estrella Clinic because it wasn't meant for facial stitches and would cause her to have more scarring. They had to remove this thread, which, it should be noted, was quite strong and difficult to break, and clean her face because the Estrella Clinic hadn't done so. Even at a public center, they tell you if you need something so you can buy it. I think they should have been more careful, especially when it comes to our faces. I think this center lacks empathy for others and has a serious lack of professional ethics. I feel sorry for Dr. Estrella because he's a very good doctor, but this clinic is among the worst in Santiago and the Dominican Republic. It's the closest one to our community, but I recommend going to another center.
