I had a terrible experience at that medical center, if you can even call it that. The first time was with my mother; they were going to let her die from gastrointestinal bleeding. They only gave her blood transfusions, but they didn't look for the cause until she had a heart attack. Thank God I got her transferred to CEDIMAT. It's the worst of the worst. I complained to the medical director, but there's no control whatsoever there.

There's a serious lack of empathy for patients. One orderly for both the emergency room and inpatient wards is simply not enough. We spent over three hours in the ER with my mother, who had extremely high blood pressure and blood sugar, waiting for a CT scan to rule out a possible stroke, in addition to blood tests and an electrocardiogram. I understand that there are critical patients and that everyone needs attention, but after so many hours of waiting, and then having the scan stopped because the equipment had to be moved to another floor, one has to wonder: what's the point of a CT scan to rule out a brain problem? They should have more staff: one orderly for the emergency room and another for inpatients, or at least prioritize cases based on risk. I even asked to take her myself in a wheelchair to the imaging department to expedite the process, but it wasn't allowed. By then, the scan could have been done, and something much more serious would have been ruled out. More empathy, better organization, and greater priority for patients in the emergency room, please.

The emergency service is deficient. Poor medical attention and disorganization in the waiting room. They must hire more medical staff to cover emergencies. And what exactly are "emergencies"? Or they should close that area altogether so that those with emergencies don't waste their time, as it seems more like a waste of time where patients risk worsening or dying in the long waiting room.
