Great little spot for forgetting your diet for a night. Chicharrón and longaniza were my favorite along with the yucca frita. So tasty. That paired with very good craft beer selection make this place an A+ in my book.
Nice place and great food at affordable prices. It's a nice place to drop by, especially if you live or work nearby because... the only black spot is the parking. I went twice and just had to drive on because I couldn't find a place to park (the third was the charm.) Consider using Uber or a taxi. Other than that, great place. The pork meat and the pork cracklings are spectacular and quite lean. Also, they have a fried cheese service that's out of this world. Recommended!
Very good chicharrón, they accept credit cards. Sometimes parking can be complicated, but otherwise great experience.
Super tasty chicharrones. Try it with yuca! Service was ok. Just cash or transfer. No credit card.
I’m honestly not usually a huge fan of chicharron (fried pork with crispy skin) because it’s often very fatty and tough, but this was exquisite. Mofongo is also not something I love, having had it extensively in Puerto Rico, but the DR version (at least this one) seems to hit different. The chicharron is mixed into the actual plantain batter which is amazing. Get a small mofongo portion and 200g of the chicharron. Plenty for one person. Came out to $11 USD. Great local spot. Soundtrack is the ladies hacking at the freshly fried chicharron on a cutting board as you enjoy the meats of her labor.
