Very nice and comfortable place, they seemed to have a clean and modern shop in which you can look from behind a glass, however....the staff arent knowledgeable about the cars they service, except the technicians, I did noticed the time involved in just an oil change....noting the mechanic who was moving so slow that I thought he was going backwards.... Two things : always make an appo 2. Always check your receipt, ! Rather pricey if you dont. Easy access to the main highway and close to the city. And NO TIRE SERVICE THERE
Extremely difficult to communicate with. The receptionist acts as a filter: she doesn't know what to do and doesn't allow communication with other departments. The technicians only seem excellent at routine tasks. As soon as anything out of the ordinary happens, they appear untrained. The manager is inaccessible. The receptionist does NOT put him in touch with customers. The reception area is very comfortable. The maintenance area is clean and visible from reception. Thanks to this receptionist, I've lost 50% of my interest in buying the Uni-K or X70 I was planning to purchase. I understand that restrictive policies are implemented WHEN THERE IS AN EFFICIENT SOLUTION that compensates for them, but that's not the case at Changan.
Nice waiting room. The receptionist is VERY inefficient and oblivious to the customers. Everyone in customer service and reception chats among themselves and the customer, "Fine, thanks!" They'll lose car-buying customers just for being so uninterested in the customer's needs. ...and the manager: UNSEEABLE!
Excellent service. Today I had a service appointment for my Changan. One of the guys first assessed what the vehicle needed, then they prepared an estimate and showed it to me to make sure I agreed to the amount. They informed me of the estimated wait time, which I considered fair. They exceeded my expectations since I had read some reviews that weren't positive.
Completely disinterested service and playing with the customer's time. I took my Changan for its first 5,000 km service. It was only possible with a scheduled appointment, and you couldn't arrive more than 15 minutes late. The place was clean, and the waiting room was comfortable with a view of the maintenance area; that's the only thing worth the star rating. They left the vehicle for two hours without a single worker nearby, and there wasn't anyone working in the service area. So what's the point of having an appointment on time? After two complaints, something finally changed. In the end, they give you an invoice including labor, even though that's free with the first two services at La Casa Changan. I complained, and half an hour later, the invoice arrived without labor, and it was higher than at TNT Service in La Vega, which is an authorized Changan workshop that doesn't offer free services and is highly recommended, even including car washes. There was a small part damaged on the back door, and they promised to request a warranty repair and notify me when it arrived. Three months later, I had to contact Santiago and ask what happened. They didn't know the cause and hadn't requested the part, even though it was available in Santo Domingo. In the end, the service guy didn't even know where to put the stamp and signature in the service logbook. Those who give 4 or 5 stars here are lying; I only know people who wouldn't go any further. Changan is better; they care more about their customers and should open a location near Puerto Plata.
