I was in Punta Cana celebrating my cousin’s birthday and needed my hair braided. After doing some research, I came across Cheyla Braids and was impressed by the great reviews and her amazing work. Even though I woke up late, she still welcomed me with a warm hug and got my hair done beautifully in under 2 hours! I asked if it was okay for my boyfriend to come along, and she happily agreed. She was so sweet and friendly, even making sure he felt comfortable the entire time. Cheila truly treats you like family from the moment you walk in. She sat me down, discussed the style I wanted, and got right to work. Before I arrived, she even mentioned that a lady next door cooks lunch and offered to order for me. I said yes, and when the plate arrived at the salon, the food was absolutely delicious! She charges very reasonable prices, works quickly and professionally, and makes the whole experience enjoyable. Plus, she makes payment super convenient by accepting PayPal (fees included). It was my first time getting braids so I was a little nervous but Cheyla made me feel so comfortable and she did my hair even better than I envisioned! She’s so kind, professional and she works fast. A lot of people overcharge you in the DR if you’re a foreigner but Cheyla charges you honestly and she does an amazing job. I can’t recommend her enough, she’s amazing!
