Lovely cafe in the middle of Piantini. The food was on point, and the prices were not outrageous. The one thing I didn't like is the fact that if you are seating outside, like we were, you may end up dealing with smokers in the small patio. That kinda ruined the atmosphere.
The food was GREAT! Service personnel were working like robots, and the inside space needs expanding to hold all the Customers. Would definitely go back, perhaps a little earlier to beat the crowd. We had breakfast at around 10 am, btw.
Ciao is a fantastic hidden gem hidden in the Piantini neighborhood. There is a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner meal choices that will please any pallet. I recommend the Dominican breakfast, crepes, pastas, burgers and sandwiches which are all absolutely delicious. The coffee is outstanding especially the cortado. Indoor and outdoor patio seating is available. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
I’ve been here four times already. Go but be ready to wait because things are fresh and Dominicans take their time with everything. Passion fruit juice, capuccino and healthy breakfast. 💯
Very good place for burnch. Make sure to get here before noon on weekeeneds as it is small and gets crowded very fast. Food is good and the drinks are very good. I got the omelet with steak and the Amercicano coffee both came out fast and tasted good. Not the most kid friendly place as there is not enough space for a stroller.
