I was lucky cause my friend knew security but there is a long queue and it doesn’t move fast. Place was dark but it was fun. Maybe not the best place but I did have a great time with my friends. It is very dark inside but I think that’s the whole point, drink were decent and the bar moved quick.
Hey, if you are coming to Distrito Nacional don’t even look pass by this local. They are racist and inconsistent on the specifications of the place to not let whoever they want in (the make excuses of anything if the bouncer doesn’t like the you, they will even employ verbal abuse). There are many better places!. Pdst: there are minors in the place even of 16 and you see people of 25 struggling to get in👀 I hope you get what I’m trying to say…
They will find any excuse not to let you in if you don’t pay extra or know the bouncers/owners to make it feel exclusive. It’s funny because the place itself is everything but exclusive. The entrance looks like a cheap hotel reception. I tried to get in once but they didn’t let us in because the girls were wearing converse shoes, while according to them they should have worn heels (yet there were people inside with ripped jeans, tank tops and sandals). I am sure the whole issue was that we were foreigners and didn’t know anyone inside. Therefore if you are a foreigner don’t bother this place is a bubble for locals who think they belong to some sort of enlightened upper class.
I got in and it was super fun but all my friends were denied entrance because their skin was darker! They almost didn't get in, but like most third world countries money greases all wheels. They reach gave the bouncer $1k pesos and he let em rock. $5k pesos is not real money. This country is like a video game with an infinite money glitch. I spent at least $12k pesos and that was barely $200. The food was okay at best but it's club food so nothing crazy. The atmosphere is almost like a better NYC club but the racism was as a Dominican expected but still why I had to lower the rating an extra star.
One of the worst experiences I’ve had here. The two security guards downstairs are rude and refused to allow us inside because they were supposedly at capacity just to allow the next group of people in after being bribed. They give priority to people from a specific economic background. The classicism is very obvious here. I asked to speak with a manager to understand why we couldn’t be let in and the security guard was very sarcastic and told me to stand there and wait until tomorrow morning and laughed in my face. Disgusting treatment. Please do not waste your time and money in this establishment.
