I went there to get a medical certificate ("Certificado Medico") in order to prolong my stay as a tourist in the country. They provided the service for 600 pesos and it was rather quick, got asked several questions, provided my passport, and received the certificate.

Servicio de emergencias pesimo. Doctores incluso gritandole a los pacientes que paguen y se vayan. Lamentable, proceso legal iniciado. Stay away from Abel Gonzalez Clinic and their emergency services. Doctors shouting to patients to pay and leave, emergency doctors with minimum / no knowledge to handle simple situations. Lawsuit iniciated agains doctor and clinic.

I was in the emergency room of the clinic until a few minutes ago. The doctor's care was 10/10, as was the nurse's. However, it's regrettable that the people working in the administrative area use their phones at maximum volume, disrespecting or ignoring the discomfort of the patients. It has always been understood that if someone goes to the emergency room, it's because they feel unwell. It's unacceptable that while a patient is in a cubicle with severe discomfort, the person at admissions, where you're attended to upon arrival or when insurance matters are handled, is on their phone at full volume, listening to or looking at information online. The person who works there got the wrong job because he thought he was in a bar, not in a clinic's emergency room. That's where you see the lack of supervision, because it's too much to ask for consideration for patients. For that reason, unfortunately, we will continue to be a country of mediocrity. There are many clinics in this country. Personally, even though the doctors who work there are good, I won't be going back, and I will make it my mission to give bad reviews because I experienced it firsthand. Don't go to that clinic because the staff is neither prepared nor trained to treat you properly.
