During my stay at the Hotel Viva V Samana I needed outpatient medical care. From the emergency call to the arrival of the medical team, it took less than 10 minutes. The first medical examination, diagnosis position and recording of my anamnesis was very professional. Both the doctor and his practicing nurse had a high degree of competence and professional know-how. The medical team here is very well trained, has internationally standardized medical equipment and also a high degree of empathy. I felt very well understood at all times and felt taken care of. They were immediately available for any complaints, problems and questions and were very friendly and helpful. The medication of my illness was absolutely adapted to the situation and quickly hit successfully. Also the processing with my foreign health insurance, the prepared medical reports and the creation of an invoice was uncomplicated. You never expect to end up in a hospital while on vacation, but life has its own plans. I am grateful that my treatment took place at this hospital. The care was professional, all my questions were answered, and the nurses were always available to provide support. Thanks to the doctors, nurses, and Diego for everything.

The doctors were helpful & we did not wait at all to meet them 🙏🙏 thankfully because it was urgent. 100x faster than in our home country where we wait for hours and hours. They gave us a private room which was very clean with a bathroom, shower, refrigerator & TV to pass the time while healing. 🏥⚕️👌

During our stay at Hotel Viva V Samana we had to use onsite medical services to treat food poisoning. The doctor came promptly, explained the proposed treatment and did everything very professionally. The nurse accurately and painlessly administered IV. Next morning there was no trace of the problem and by noon we were back on the beach. Thank you so much!

In my opinion, this clinic primarily caters to tourists and seems to aim at extracting as much money as possible from them. Charging $400 for 14 antibiotic tablets — which are, moreover, widely discouraged in Canada for this type of condition — along with a small bottle of decongestant syrup, is simply excessive. Being the only client there, I unfortunately realized too late the true nature of this establishment.
