It was a good experience with this Clinic
I visited the clinic because my mother had been treated by Dr. Espinal in the past. However, I was very disappointed. While there are qualified doctors, services like billing, cleaning, and reception need improvement, not to mention the lack of compassion and respect in the insurance department. I went to drop off some test results, and I learned that the doctor preferred physical copies. I had them digitally, so I went to find a place to print them. At the billing office, they told me to go to the insurance department. One of the young women kindly printed them for me, and I proceeded to pay. The young woman then asked who I believe was her supervisor how much she should charge. The man rudely reprimanded her and, not content with that, demanded the papers to examine them. He tore them up in my face and threw them in the trash, claiming that nothing should be printed unless it was for insurance purposes. From what he told the young woman, it seemed to be the first time. The embarrassment was so great that the young woman apologized to me for both her and him. I understand that it shouldn't have been done; I didn't know, and neither did she. I told him I was sorry, that I didn't know, and that they sent me there, but he still asked for the papers and tore them up. A very unpleasant person, especially the way he spoke to the young woman. They don't accept cards or transfers; they need to update their system. Or are they pulling a fast one on the tax authorities?
HORRID! I wouldn't recommend this clinic to anyone. I hope no one ever has to go there. The emergency room nurse provides terrible service, using the excuse that she feels unwell. The security guard, who at that moment also seemed to be the orderly, didn't take my mother up in a wheelchair. My sick mother had to climb a steep, uneven staircase with no steps because he told her he wouldn't kill himself for anyone. The rooms are in the worst condition. On the second day, the water went out when my mother was admitted, and we had no water to shower. And they charged us 10,000 pesos in cash because they don't accept cards. I've never paid so much for three nights. Getting a medical certificate stamped was another problem because only one person in the entire clinic has a stamp, and they were never available. Everyone at reception has a bad attitude. I promise you I'm not exaggerating; the doctors are good, and some of the nurses on the floors are too. But everything else is awful.
The doctors are good and the nurses are friendly, but the hygiene of the center is appalling, the bathrooms are awful, and the customer service at the register is a disaster. If the bathrooms were suitable for a clinic, I would give it 4 stars.
Terrible service in the laboratory. My partner went to get some tests done, and after two weeks of trips to get the results, they were told that the reason they hadn't received them was because a urine test was missing. However, the lab technician never mentioned that test, and they were also told that there was no reagent available for one of the tests. Neither the billing nor the insurance department knew this information. I wasted money and time only to be told in the end to request a refund for the tests.
