Great people to do buseness with
Great service
My experience with Cobig Real Estate has been excellent. From the start, they proved to be a very responsible and committed company. Rossy's work is admirable; she is always attentive, professional, and dedicated, which inspires a great deal of confidence and security throughout the entire process.
The customer service is outstanding; they respond effectively to any question or concern. I recommend this place to anyone looking for high-quality service with a friendly and reliable approach.
We rented a two level house in Santiago from this company. The top level was to be completed within 10 days. Once we paid rent they never returned. House was not cleaned. The kitchen sink leaked every day and was ruining the beautiful new cabinetry. Two of the 3 bathrooms on ground floor leaked. The water pump didn't work and our first week we had no water except for a barrel outside the back door. We paid 37000 dop/mo and expected to stay 1 to 2 years. We left after a few weeks. They kept $37000 dop commission for lying to us. They promised bars around the front patio, among other things. Installed a motion light in back but we never had electricity. It was hot wired to post out front by them. No power in upper level...ever. We had to run extension cord from top level to bottom for washing machine. Never happened. After we got an attorney they tried showing up unannounced to finish construction. We asked them to let us know before coming...they showed up unannounced the next day. No water again last week due to a pump problem. We had to fight to get any money back. These types of "professional" businesses give the Dominican Republic a bad name. Terrible experience. Do not give them your money and believe nothing they say. This property is currently listed for rent on their site again...each level is rented separately. Beware! They didn't deliver the house on the same day, but they promised that the rebar would be installed in two days and everything would be finished in ten. After ten days passed without them fulfilling their promise, they told us it would be another week, and that week turned into a month. They left us without water because the water pumps weren't working, which even one of their employees admitted. More than ten times they lied and made false promises, and because of their irresponsibility, we went through the worst month of our lives. It cost us more than $50,000 pesos because they didn't even collect the rent for the upstairs area, which they hadn't finished as promised. If that's what you call being hospitable and kind-hearted, then I don't need enemies. As Leslie's husband and a Dominican, I'm ashamed that you can treat people so badly and be so irresponsible. It's shameful. And to top it all off, you didn't even return the house clean, and how dare one of your employees ask me for 500 pesos to clean the house when we returned it just as clean, or even cleaner, than you left it? We have plans to buy a house in a few months, and I hope we never do business with a company like yours again.
