Went into Todd's CPS shipping today to mail a package to the United States. Todd was so helpful, pleasant and suggestive. What a super nice guy! Thanks so much for your amazing service! If you need to ship anything anywhere, this is the place!
I have been going through a very interesting process with CPS regarding shipping my packages. It looks as though they are somehow incentivized to have me pay import tax. Feels shady. No-one told me about the 200 dollar restriction despite showing my cart balance of over 200 dollars. I did receive an email with the detail but in Spanish despite them knowing I speak English. The owner and employees continually convince me to just send packages over the limit and it’ll be “cheap”, but also say could be 70%. An employee kept telling me he thinks it will only be 40$ to send a $360 dollar package. When I asked what % or what price per lb is he referring to, he said he doesn’t know but kept insisting it will only be 40$. When I came to talk to the owner to inform him I need the packages redirected from Miami to my home in NY, he was going hysterical and tried to intimidate me with yelling and banging his table. He told me to leave before he gets really angry. ??. He kept calling me stupid for “not understanding” that future packages will all ship which I will be 100% liable for and there is nothing that can be done even after canceling my account. I am a software engineer, previously working at Amazon and Facebook. I have also worked in logistics at Johnson & Johnson and went to university for it. I cannot believe that there is no measure to stop future unarrived packages going on a ship to another country knowing my name or code. There has to be a compliant way to stop them for derogatory or illegal accounts. I’m very surprised of their logistics for a logistics company. After my business with CPS finishes, I will send in another review, complete with a youtube video describing my full experience with CPS as well as one listing other options for shipping to Dominican Republic.
Excelent customer service. Todd and his team are always on top of your orders
They don't work as team (not coordination) I spent 5 days asking for my package and everyday I have to restart the conversation again 'cause they just delete the chat (not follow up at all). I last they don't care much about your package, Don't give you options and have zero customer service skills. Worst service for a courier ever....
This is a pretty decent place to get your things shipped from the United States or other countries into the Dominican republic. The average cost is about 4 to 5 dollars per pound. It’s not cheap but the service is fast and reliable you can have your things usually within a week. There are few things important that you need to ask about or you may not find out. Ask about the app so that you can track your packages. Ask about the discount card. It costs $10. Well worth it. You can get your money back on a single occasion. I order things from Amazon and send them to an address in Florida and they get forwarded here. Here’s a helpful hint consolidate your packages into a few shipments as possible to keep the packing weight down ..you’d be surprised how when I order one tiny little item on Amazon it comes in a big box. 1 pound is the minimum delivery cost. Sometimes amazon will send many packages even if you do this. If you’re very cheap and have a friend in the states ship all your items to them. Have them remove any unneeded packing material and send it all here in a single box. You will save. Also they have ocean shipping minimum is like 300-400 pounds weight. It takes like a month but can be worth it for heavy items s it’s much cheaper. The import tax over $200 of value is 18%. If all your items come in under $200 USA no tax. Don’t scam the tax it will hold up your items or worse. Enjoy.
