Mainly for cruise passengers but a good spot, pool bars and restaurants. I walked around looking for bird life of which their were a few species, no bother and felt safe
This is how cruise ports should be done, Loads of free sun beds, umbrellas can be rented for $10. Massive swimming pool with a swim up bar and plenty of shops and food options . There is also a supermarket there for any bits and pieces you may need to stock up on before you set sail again.
Good as far as tourist trap cruise ports go. A short walk up a small hill from the ship to the shops. I ate at Nathan's hot dog stand and my wife ordered from the restaurant next to Nathan's. The food and drinks from both were good.
Very convenient port. You could spend a day here if docked. Had no issues getting on or off the ship through this port.
Amazing port . As usual. Dominican republic has amazing ports. Great stores. Prices are what you would expect .
