Love the fact that I could find a book on the history of the Dominican Republic! Very easy to find and it is inside a pretty cool mall in the city.
How I did not find this place before is beyond me. It is a little piece of heaven for any bibliophile and even more for an English-speaking reader in the Dominican Republic. We all know how difficult it is to get books in English here. They have a row dedicated to English books and many anime and superhero books. Upstairs there is a little cafe but I think it would be a good idea to fix it up so it matches the feel of the rest of the place. They also have benches upstairs along the railing where you can seat and read. The books overall are not expensive. I got 5 books for about 4000 pesos. I think it's fair compared to the online bookstores I've gotten books from before here.
They have plenty of books, well organized.
Very nice place to disconnect for a moment alone or siege some time with your loved ones. You're free to read any book inside the book store and it has many titles to choose from. Prices are good as well. I totally recommend this place.
First impression - mini Barnes and Noble. Great atmosphere, upstairs cafe, and ample selection of books mostly on Spanish but some I'm English too.
