We recently visited Cultura Cervecera in Santo Domingo, and overall, it was a really solid experience. The space is beautiful, the service was great, and the food options were exactly what you’d expect from a quality brewery—well thought-out and very satisfying. The beer selection was extensive, especially if you’re into IPAs and international styles. It definitely has the feel of a modern craft brewery you’d find in the U.S., blending a slightly upscale look with that typical brewery-style seating. That said, the seating could be more comfortable—it’s a mix that doesn’t fully commit either to casual or upscale, and I think going one way or the other would improve the experience. My only real suggestion would be to highlight more Dominican beers. They do a great job curating international options, but as a visitor to the DR, I’d love to see more local craft selections featured. It would be a great way to showcase what the country has to offer in the beer scene. Of course, that might not be as important to locals, but it’s definitely something travelers would appreciate. All in all, it’s a great place to hang out, grab a good drink, and enjoy a laid-back night. I can definitely see myself going back—and I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a modern brewery experience in the heart of Santo Domingo.
Why 5 start ? Simple, food is good, service is great and I love the atmosphere. Yes it was a Wednesday night but is DR. It was fairly busy but not full. Quipe (if you know what I’m talking about) 10/10, catibia (same) 10/10. Beer selection is endless (I ‘m not expert, had a beer or Two) I will definitely be back and update.
Nice informal place to reunite with friends. Very ample with big tables to share. Lots of tvs to watch sports games also. Plenty of beers, as the name suggests, and side dishes also. Good place and good food. Nice atmosphere also. Just be aware of parking. I think there was a valet but very limited parking. One should look to park in the streets nearby. Very crowded neighborhood with other restaurants also. That makes parking more difficult and with some traffic jam. But surely worth trying.
Walked in with two waitresses completely disinterested in helping us. I asked to see the menu they asked me to scan the napkin holder which was fine but the sell signal inside is slow and unfortunately there's not even one single physical menu inside
Nice play to talk, drink and eat good food. The music is loud and sometimes is difficult to talk with other person. Well, maybe it is just the vibe of this place and seems normal. The music is good though. I recommend this place to hang out with friends
