We visited based on good reviews unfortunately it was disappointing. Both fish in garlic and fried were super dried and additionaly waitress mixed orders as instead get shrimps in coco we got in some sauce. We hadn't mentioned as we would have to wait too long. Really sorry for low note but food wasn't great and bill was expensive as over 5K pesos. I think the most expensive meal we had in all DR.
A local person recommended this restaurant because we were looking for some traditional local food for a quick yet authentic lunch. We were so happy with this place. It's basic and there were plenty of locals enjoying their lunch hour here. The server was very sweet, the meal was tasty and filling, and it was clean and inviting. The prices were very reasonable and we would definitely stop in again if we are ever lucky enough to visit this area someday. Give it a try.
We were going around town looking for some good food. We ended up here and everything worked great for us. The service and owners were very helpful in choosing food. Portions were big, dishes well prepared and tasty. If you like local food I'd definitely recommend this place!
This is a humble locals restaurant serving amazing food at extremely affordable prices. If you are in the area consider a stop here for some authentic food.
Had fish steamed in garlic sauce, not sure what kind of fish it was, but it was steamed to perfection and seasoned so we'll (very simple yet super tasty!) The rice and beans were great too, lots of flavor!! Highly recommend!!
