This agency is terrible. They put their own interests above the client's. I'm in the process of moving from the USA to Punta Cana. I first contacted Chantal Estevez. I told her I was going on a trip to look at rental properties and that she would help me by showing me the properties because she's a real estate agent. Well, that's how she introduced herself. She said she was available to show me the rental options once I arrived in the country, and I gave her the date I would be arriving. She said, "Perfect!" And when I arrived from Texas on the agreed-upon date, I contacted her. She started by telling me she wasn't in Punta Cana and that she didn't remember our agreement. After I called her and explained again, she told me that neither she nor any of her colleagues who work for Dominican Properties could help me. And on top of that, she told me to "rent a car so I can see the different areas." How awful and rude! It doesn't seem professional or considerate to me. It is inhumane treatment. And I don't wish it on anyone. For this reason I write this review. They have to make Dominican Properties better! In my country they call it “bad business.” Bad business! Renting is not investing. I was ready to rent. That's why I wanted someone to show me properties. In order to rent. I told her possibly rent with an option to buy. But mainly I wanted to rent not invest right away. I want to rent first. That was clear. Since I've been here I've had other agents show me around with the same terms I gave your agent. So It is possible to show rental options to clients under these terms and in my situation.So I know it can be done. It's an agents job to do that.
