Although the shoes are nice and comfortable, the discount advertising is a bit misleading, because they only apply the 70% discount to a very small percentage of the merchandise. But I bought two, hehehehe
I've been an Ego customer for several years now, and I can't deny that the quality of their shoes is very good and the prices reasonable. However, I had a horrible experience in October when I went to buy shoes for my baby shower. I bought the dress and went there for the shoes. Since I'm pregnant, I was with my friend, and she was browsing while I sat on one of the chairs until one of the thin employees there helped me. He looked for shoes, but the ones he found didn't fit, and he kept trying, but some weren't the right ones. Anyway, I sat there to see if anything else would turn up, and suddenly I heard a blonde woman say to her coworkers, "Are they buying shoes? What are they doing there?" And the other one said, "No, they're not buying." It was like, "Get out of here." All of this was said loudly, and when I looked, they tried to cover it up. That made me very angry because I've been an Ego customer for many years, and because that day nothing I went there to buy fit. They treated me like an animal without any consideration for my situation. If I were pregnant, I swore I'd never set foot in that store again. I understand that it wasn't right for all the employees to talk like that. The skinny guy should have just said, "Hey girl, I don't have anything else to show you that might be useful." But no, he stopped looking, and I was waiting for him, and then a few minutes later, that woman, with her discriminatory temper, said that because I hadn't bought anything that day, made me feel so bad. I looked at them and said, "We're leaving," and I left, and I'll never go back. I'm a Payes customer too, and they've never treated me like those dogs at the Ego store in the Colonial Zone. They're just like my old boss, who treated people who came in to ask about prices or buy inexpensive things badly, and he'd practically lay down a rug for those who bought things worth thousands of pesos.
Excellent place, I like their shoes, I wish it were a bigger place.
Very good selection of footwear, beautiful and of good quality.
