This restaurant has a beautiful Dominican decor and nicely decorated. I had a seafood with cubed pieces of fish with vegetables in a sort of stew. The fish lacked flavor and not much to write about. The menu for this item said it came with a side of avocado salad. Surprisingly when the bill came they separately charged the salad. Not a nice move and I didn’t say anything because I’ve learned that this is common in DR and wasn’t about to argue with the staff. I did, however, come out of her tip. My guest had a whole fish in a red sauce. Again, lacking flavor. Good size though. Overall, for me it wasn’t worth the money although the ambience was nice.
The place is so nice it kind of brings you back in time with all the decoration. The food was incredibly delicious. I loved the place, it is a bit pricey, but worthy, will be going back. El señor de la tambora va matar alguien de un susto un día de estos, it’s all fun and games until it’s not! Scared the 💩 out of me.
We had a great time at this restaurant. It offers local traditional dishes with a nice atmosphere. Service was great and food taste was exceptional.
Found this place from TikTok, and though it’s a little more on the expensive side it’s definitely a casual cuisine worth trying! Everything I ordered was good including the drink! That fish covered in coconut cream sauce was amazing!
El Conuco, best location for some real authentic dominican food. The atmosphere makes you feel as if you were somewhere away from the city. The food was delicious. I highly recommend coming by this place if you want to feel closer to the Dominican culture. Everything was delicious, service was quick and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great place for pictures as well.
