El Encanto is your typical one stop and shop place to get your merch. Has your groceries, electronics, clothes and food court. Cheap prices and pretty convenient for its location in the city. Just be careful with your wallet and purse. Lots of thieves love to hit these places.
Some of the saleperson need more training. They have a lot of good products and the prices are ok. I bought this nice shoes made in Spain very confortable and for an excellent price. I recomend it.
Good products and prices. Vegetable day (Tuesday) is difficult as there are so many people. Sometimes they do a good deal on a particular wine.
El Encanto is a department store where you can fund furniture, some clothing, pharmaceutical items, home furnitures and decorations; as well as a great cafeteria, with delicious and very amazingly afordable priced foods The place is sparkly clean, and hygenic. They have a buffet type of cuisine where they exhibit the food available, you see what they have and you pick what you want; being served by a very attentive and marvelou staff. For example, given that I have a disability and walk with a cane, one of their workers identifed a table for me, pointed at it and told me to go tgere that she were going to bring the tray for me. They also serve natural juices such as my favorite, passion fruit; and it costs you $60 Dominican pesos, which is about $1.20. I ate rice with beans, onion stake, green salad, and elbow macaroni salad, with a passion fruit juice fir $260 pesos [ about $5]. You can then shop for furnitures and decorations. By the way, they have an indoor parking garage in the basement.
