Hands down one of the best meals we’ve had in town. Service was wonderful, food was fresh and delicious, I definitely recommend the pineapple shrimp empanadas and the red tuna thai rose!!! We will definitely be back,
Update: went back and had the grilled Mahi Mahi, Carbonara and Caprese app. All amazing. Honestly, the food here consistently exceeds expectations, and at a reasonable price point. Previous: I wish I could say we ordered interesting dishes, but we were in the mood for good French fries which brought us here. Order the fish and chips, absolutely excellent. The fries were not understated, hand cut, double fries, with sides of homemade ketchup and Tartar. Everything we ordered (wine, mojito, empanada starter) absolutely perfect. All of the dishes we enviously saw being ordered at the other tables looked on point as well, even a mysterious flaming mear dish. The servers were very attentive, and they provided some free fried chicken balls in a delicious sauce, and bread w/oil and a sweet vingegar. Highly recommend.
Only 3 stars because we've been eating a lot better here in Las Terrenas for less. The prices are on the higher side, our bruschetta appetizer was delicious, the main course, however, pretty disappointing - burger bun very dry, there was no tasty sauce in it, the whole tasted pretty flat to me. My parent's salads were also unsatisfying. Staff very nice, speak only Spanish, as in most places here.
I must say we were not disappointed. Friendly staff and THE BEST. and I mean THEEEE BESTTTT. wood fired steaks. 10/10 recommend if you're in Terranas!!
We got the Parmesan croquettes, much bigger than the pics and very delicious, pineapple-basil martini, very good, and the special daiquiri, also good. Then that followed the prime rib and a glass of chianti. Wonderful way to celebrate our five year anniversary. The staff was great.
