I tried their pan de muerto (Day of the Dead bread), it was too sugary and burnt. I hope they see this comment and improve, because I saw they had high demand and it doesn't match what other customers are saying. I've had it in Mexico before and thought that coming from a Mexican, it might be similar. They work from home; I ordered via WhatsApp and they notified me when it was ready for pickup.
I'm a Mexican with a huge sweet bread obsession, and I've been living in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, for 20 years. One of the things I miss most is Mexican bakeries. I discovered Mapache Goloso because of the beautiful conchas they bake. I decided to try them, and wow! Spectacular! Great flavor, presentation, and size—better than many I've had back home. Then I discovered they make pan de muerto, and it's spectacular too! Later, I saw they also have rosca de reyes, and wow again! Everything they make tastes delicious, has a perfect presentation, affordable prices, and above all, great customer service. I've even formed a good friendship with them; I feel like a VIP every time I visit. I've tried other products like pan de jamón, pan de orégano, tiramisu, etc., and none of them have disappointed me. This year, I bought a lot of pan de muerto, and the quality is always spectacular. I also bought several roscas de reyes, and they're always beautiful and delicious. I'm so glad I discovered them because they've brought a piece of Mexico to my stomach! I always recommend it to my friends, and they're always delighted. They regularly introduce new products, and they always surprise me. Congratulations, friends, you're the best!
Excellent service and the cinnamon rolls were absolutely delicious 😍
Highly recommended, this is the best bakery in Santo Domingo. Flavor, quality, freshness, and excellent service are just some of its defining characteristics.
I ordered a Taco Salad and this is the End.... I have never eaten something that felt so fresh and tasty, its quality is excessively good for its price
