I was in this store looking to purchase a basketball goal for my kids. The first thing I noticed was that everyone just looked at me instead of asking if I needed any help. I could get over that, but then I approached the register to speak to what appeared to be the owner. Before she even realized that I didn't speak Spanish she completely ignored me. While all this was taking place there was a guy mopping the floor who seemed to think that having customers in the store was an inconvenience since he was mopping the only walkway in the store. Then to top it all off, one of the employees approaches my wife and two friends of ours, who happen to be black and in their 50s, and asks if they speak Spanish. When they say no he looks at them very arrogantly and starts to talk to the the guy mopping the floor who also shares the arrogant look. As a business owner I was blown away by this kind of behavior. What ever happened to the customer being right and all that stuff that make successful businesses? In my opinion, if you are going to own a business on a main street in a tourist destination it should be no surprise to find people that don't speak Spanish. It appears to be a family run business which is a shame because I am used to much better service from those types of establishments. Don't give this place any business. That type of racist behavior and poor service should not be rewarded.
One register so the final transaction is slow; staff really not knowledgeable about the merchandise and their prices.
Great. Loved it!
I like it! They have all kinds of sporting goods.
