While we were vacationing in Samaná, DR, we did a one-day beach tour with Elewis Tour as a group of 16, and honestly… it was the highlight of our trip. The experience is done by motor boat, taking you from beach to beach, and we visited some of the most beautiful spots — Frontón, La Playita, Las Damas, Playa Rincón, and Playa Roja. I’ll admit I was a little nervous at first since it was my first time doing something like that, but everything felt very safe the entire time. Everyone was given life vests, and that really gave me peace of mind so I could just enjoy the day. We were celebrating my friend’s 50th birthday, and they truly went above and beyond. They surprised us with a Dominican cake right on the beach during our lunch break, played music for us with portable speakers, and kept the whole vibe fun and relaxed all day. For lunch, you got to choose one protein — fried or baked fish, shrimp, or chicken. It also came with pasta, rice, salad, and tostones. I had the fried fish and it was so good, and my husband ordered the fried chicken and loved it. Dessert was AMAZING, I had a passion fruit cheesecake and flan. If you’re looking for a fun, authentic, well-organized beach hopping experience in Samaná, I definitely recommend Elewis Tour. You’re going to have an amazing time.

Elewis is the best he made sure my family was comfortable at all time and explained the our beach excursion to the tee. Absolutely the best tour in Samana. Moses, our tour guide was excellent and fun and helped us have the best time while we were on the boat.

We had a great experience with Elwis Tours. The office staff was very kind and patient, and we used a translation app to communicate easily. Their excursion prices were also much cheaper compared to booking through the hotel. On the day of the excursion, the owner, Elwis, personally introduced himself, checked on us, and clearly explained all the inclusions. A helpful tip: when you arrive at Cayo Levantado for the buffet lunch, make sure to mention that you are with Elwis Tours so your drinks and beach chair are included. Otherwise, you may be charged extra. The tour included visits to two caves, and the beach was absolutely beautiful with crystal-clear blue water. The tour guide spoke both English and Spanish very well, explained everything clearly, and was very approachable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. There was also a photographer available during the trip, although photos require separate payment. Tips for the staff are optional at the end of the tour. Overall, it was an amazing, well-organized, and affordable excursion.

Cayo Levantado was the perfect finale to the day: crystal-clear waters, soft white sand, and a relaxed atmosphere. It was a true slice of paradise. The entire tour was well-organized, from timely pick-up to the seamless transitions between activities. I will definitely trust any other of their tours around the island! Ah! Last but not least, I had the best Coco Loco and Piña Colada - an absolute must-try!
