Estive em Samaná com a minha esposa e fiz o passeio para Cayo Levantado que é linda demais e como levamos nossa marcará para mergulhar, ficamos encantados com a vida marinha da ilha. Fui recebido pelo sr. Pedro, que me recebeu muito bem e me explicou o passeio. O local de onde o barco saiu é excelente e o atendimento de todos da empresa Embat sempre foi com um sorriso no rosto. Embat is the best option for excursions in Samaná. I went with them in March to see the whales; they were very respectful and professional, taking care of us and the whales at all times. More recently, I went with them to Los Haitises and Cayo Levantado, a more than positive experience. They know the sea, the area, and show it to you like no one else. Their boats are comfortable, well-maintained catamarans, and the crew is their own, so you'll always be safe. Everyone is very friendly. They also include alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on the tours. You embark from their private, clean port, with restrooms and a beautiful green area facing the sea. I highly recommend them!

We visited Los Haitises with Embat Tours, bird islands with pelicans, frigate birds, and other species. We took a catamaran into the mangrove forests and visited two caves. The guide explained everything in German, English, and French. It was great! Rum and other refreshments were served on the boat. Finally, we went to the Bacardi Island, Cayo Levantado, for dinner and a swim. Everything was included, no extra costs, very satisfied!

Fifty people have just been left adrift in the water after the Boca de Yuma vessel sank. The Navy is rescuing the passengers, and apparently the vessel had internal hull damage, which caused it to take on water quickly.
