The architecture of the building is beautiful; a very high end European feel with lots of gorgeous wood and tiles. A huge outdoor palazzo and exceptional views, both day and night. The glass elevator down to the beach was amazing and the walking bridges from island to island very picturesque. There were many high end touches from the luxurious terry cloth robes and a bedit to the extra door on the room closing off the any hallway noise. Fun nightly entertainment and great bar service. Staff was friendly and happy to help. The only downside was the lack of refilling the various food which was emptied in the buffet. Also, some inconsistencies with the housekeeping; we had to continually call down to the front desk for more bottled water and running out of the ingredients required to make common resort cocktails. We recognize that they've only been reopened within the last 6-8 months and are working out the kinks. We loved our ocean view room. It was worth the extra $$$ in every way. We'd definitely go back, 100% A total 5 star experience; worth every penny.
Choosing Eurostars Grand Cayacoa Resort was one of the best decisions I could have made for a much-needed time of relaxation and healing after a hectic winter. The natural surroundings are absolutely spectacular, and the hotel itself is exceptionally clean with a beautiful artistic touch throughout. The food was both healthy and delicious, making every meal enjoyable. However, our greatest appreciation and gratitude go to the incredible staff who made our stay so memorable through their hard work, dedication, and genuine hospitality. While I may not remember everyone’s names, a few special individuals immediately come to mind. Super Mambo is a passionate and extraordinarily soulful artist. Gigi has a remarkable gift for bringing joy to those around him. Jennifer puts her heart and energy into ensuring guests have a wonderful experience. Junior and Alexander from the buffet restaurant are truly pleasant, professional, and courteous young men. Last but certainly not least, I would like to acknowledge the chefs, the servers, the housekeeping staff, the elevator attendants, the gentleman who kept the beach clean, and so many others whose efforts contributed to such a fantastic experience. I had an amazing time. I never expected to dance so much, laugh so often, and feel so genuinely cared for during my week-long stay. Thank you to everyone who made this vacation so special.
The hotel is excellent, the service is spectacular in all areas. Gigi and Jennifer provided excellent entertainment, and the view is breathtaking. On the beach, Rafael's service was spectacular, as were Victor and Antony's. The room cleaning staff were also incredibly friendly, as was the service at the bar and buffet area, especially Junior. Chef Virmar was excellent. Overall, the service was spectacular. The only thing to improve is that some guests smoke in all the common areas, which is very inconvenient; they should have a designated smoking area. I also think it would be important to add a small disco and extend the pool's closing time so guests can enjoy it at night as well; it currently closes very early.
Honest review! My husband and I travelled here last week and we had overall a great stay at the Eurostars grand. They are still working on part of the resort so there was only 1 pool open and 2 restaurants plus a buffet. The food was pretty good but also repetitive each day. The views were incredible and the staff were friendly for the most part. When we first arrived we paid for a king size bed and ocean view. The lady told us there was no long bed left so she gave us double beds which definitely wasn’t going to work. We told them we wanted our king bed so the next morning we went back to the desk and they said we could maybe get a new room by the end of the day which we found unacceptable since we should be getting what we paid for! By the end of the second day we ended up getting a new room but we did have to keep going back to ask which was annoying. Our new room was great and the views were amazing except the toilet didn’t work or flush properly so maintenance had to Come up which wasn’t a big deal. Other than that, the only other issue was the elevator taking you down to the beach was broken from day 1 and only back working a few days there. There is stairs you can take though which we ended up finding out after asking around. Samana is beautiful and it was our first time there and we would definitely come back. Hopefully the resort makes a few improvements and finishes updating because it definitely has potential to be a 5 star but as it is now it’s about a 3.5 to a 4 star.
I recently stayed at Eurostars Grand Cayacoa and had a wonderful experience. The resort offers stunning views of Samaná Bay, creating a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with excellent views of the water. The food was delicious, with a good variety of options available throughout our stay. I especially enjoyed spending time by the pool and taking in the incredible scenery. What truly made this resort special was the peaceful environment and the genuine hospitality of the staff. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or a base to explore the beauty of Samaná, Eurostars Grand Cayacoa is an excellent choice. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting again.
