Great place didn’t know English but we could use google translate and got what we needed for an upset stomach. They also have sunscreen and pool tubes.
Very nice and knowledgeable staff. They helped me several times.
This review is for the Las Galeras location of Farmacia Península. The young woman clerk has a poor attitude. She obviously has no interest in her work. No interest in serving clients. I asked if they have saline solution for contact lenses. She shook her head no, and couldn't bring herself to make an effort to say anything. Then I asked if they could order saline solution -- since I just moved to Las Galeras and would go regularly to this pharmacy, since it's the closest. She said no, they couldn't get saline solution for contact lenses. She was further strained beyond her capabilities when I asked for an antibiotic ointment. Luckily, some was in the display case, under her nose. I pointed it out to her. She looked it up on her data base, and agreed to sell it to me. I will have to go to Samaná for a decent pharmacy, whether Carol or GBC.
It's in the village. Although they don't have some medications, it's because they are very specialized and other well-known pharmacies in the capital have to request them specifically.
This place can't be called a pharmacy! They have terrible service and a very bad attitude.
