The owner of the hotel is absolutely accommodating and amazing. My rental car got hit by a motorcyclist while parked in front of the hotel. He helped me manage dealing with the local police and extended our stay to ensure we were comfortable and able to handle this stressful situation as smoothly as possible. The rooms were clean and had hot water. Breakfast was tasty. I just wish I had more time in samana to explore before I had to leave. Big thanks to all the staff and owner here for the help. Anyone traveling to samana will be in good hands here.

This place is not worth the price. I stayed two nights breakfast wasn't bad they had a few options. My complaint is there was no hot water the toilet was laughable the size. While sitting on the toilet I could put my head and arms on the wall in front of me. I will not ever come back. The photos on the internet are doctored up the pool looks huge it's just a tiny square pool. The rooms are also small ant the bathroom are tiny.

We had an amazing stay at Figaro in Jan2021. The view is gorgeous for sure but the staff is also super friendly and willing to help! The breakfast is great and the staff team also sets up bbq on the roof for weekend days, which makes the atmosphere even cozier. The room was great, bathroom was very clean and functional and the WiFi worked very well! Definitely recommend!

our first week at the hotel was a bit of a rough start. but after a few days of settling in, the service began to really cozy up our stay. Wanda at the reception is very welcoming and helpful. She will try her best to make you feel at home, whenever you have a problem don’t hesitate to reach out to her. In the kitchen you’ll have Joel to assist you with your particular needs. The personalized service has really made a huge difference. As soon as you get to meet them your experience is enhanced. They were more than clean when it came to room service. The second you have a complaint the people here will go out of their way to help. I gave the place a bad review at first but now I feel dumb for not having given it just a little more time. A warm place for sure!!!

Very noisy hotel so avoid if you like to sleep. There is a lot of noise from the road, the disco next door and other guests in the hallways. The employee are friendly but it just don't outweigh the downsides.
