This salon was recommended to me. I was interested in a relaxing massage, facial, manicure and pedicure with gel polish and a manicure and pedicure for my daughter. Despite the variety of services listed with prices on their website, they only offer the basics—manicure, pedicure and shampoo/conditioner/blow dry. It was easy to find and located in a small plaza with a variety of shops and places to eat. - Aesthetically the salon was pleasing— bright pastel colors, open floor plan, nice lighting, quiet and place for children to sit when not being serviced. Unlike many salons I’ve been to in other countries, I noticed A LOT of hair on the floor, even under the area where nails were being done. There were two clients in the salon when we arrived who left rather quickly after we entered. It took about 30 minutes for someone to clean up some of the hair and she did so with a mop. Shoutout the the male stylist who swept immediately after his client left. As far as options for nail polish colors, they are limited. Like I’ve seen in many salons in DR, there are no traditional manicure and pedicure chairs and bowls, just a bowl with a plastic bag for feet and a regular glass bowl for a manicure. Bath bomba for the pedicure were RD100 additional and the pedicure was VERY SIMPLE. The same towels used to dry hands and feet seem to be shared with the stylist that dry the hair which means there was hair on the towel used to wipe my hands down. Overall, Erika was great. She paid attention to my cuticles and got them cleaned up without cutting me. The polish was applied wonderfully and she took her time. I would’ve loved some oil to refresh the skin and give it a shine, but it was not offered. The child manicure and pedicure were also very simple for RD550.

What a shame! It's a very pretty hair salon, but the service is terrible. They put me under a dryer and never came to see what I needed. My hair was burning hot, and I got tired of raising my hand, but no one came to me. Then, when I told the girl who was doing my hair that I just wanted some movement, she gave me horrible waves with a brush without me asking. My hair was so frizzy that I had to tie it up when I got home. And on top of that, she charged me 1200 pesos, supposedly for the brush waves I didn't ask for! They should ask the customer the price of everything. I don't mind paying the 1200 pesos I did, but the service was awful. I'm never going back, and I don't recommend it. The only downside is the pretty building.

I wasn't comfortable with the service I received. It's not just about hiring staff, but also about the quality of their service and technique. The person who washed my hair was quite rough with it, both during the washing and detangling process. Furthermore, whoever did the blow-dry should know that thick and fine hair aren't treated the same way. I also consider it inappropriate to address a client with comments like "So, what are you going to do?" or "What do you need?" because it's not the right way to guide someone who's paying for a service. (The cashier is very helpful) but the others need customer service training. I understand that the place is nice and that they take care of the aesthetics, but the service and attention really don't match the price I paid.

I tried to go twice. They accept clients 30 minutes before closing, depending on availability. The first time I arrived an hour before closing and they wouldn't let me in. The second time I arrived an hour and a half before closing and they didn't even open the door. Terrible customer service. My mother went twice and they burned her hair, which confirmed for me that this wasn't the salon for me.

I'm going to take this moment to express my opinion here, to give you all the opportunity to improve before I retire. Since young Marian retired from shampooing, I've shampooed several times with different salons, and I see that they don't go through the same filter as the one I'm used to. Either they aren't evaluating me, or they're simply hiring people who claim to shampoo when they don't. Furthermore, the bathroom conditions aren't very pleasant for the style of this salon, not to mention that there's never anything to dry your hands with. I hope you take this comment into account and pay more attention to the service you're offering.
